Ok, abbiamo fatto entrare la primavera. Abbiamo parlato tutti del design nordico e le tendenze IKEA con tutti i neri, grigi, bianchi e pelliccia, dettagli geometrici e un sacco di cuscini. Ed sono molto belli nella sua semplicità. Ma è anche divertente quando pensiamo di essere tutti così individuali nelle nostre scelte, invece di rendersi conto che siamo in realtà parte di un clan.
Non sto dicendo che non mi piaciono queste tendenze, no, mi piaciono. Ma non è che si stanno trasformando in un rifugio accogliente per la nostra creatività?
Quando si parla di arredamento, noi non dobbiamo essere pratici. Non dobbiamo pensare perché mettere un vaso vuoto su una mensola o perché mettere otto cuscini su un divano invece di due nei angoli. Non dobbiamo essere pratici - al minuto in cui scendiamo su questa strada, la nostra casa diventa noiosa.
I ritocchi finali trasformano gli spazi, trasformano scaffali, mantelli, nicchie e angoli in qualcosa di magico una volta vestiti. Mescolare i cuscini sembra più eccitante che se sono tutti uguali.
So che per mettere una stanza insieme ci vuole un' pò di abilità e per alcuni di noi è più facile rispetto ad altri, ma quando capite come farla funzionare è come avere quel kit di strumenti perfetti, rende tutto molto più facile.
Ma se avete dubbi, leggete queste semplici regole:
1. Scegliete la tavolozza dei colori. Ma come ho detto, dovete essere poco pratici, seguite il vostro cuore non la testa.
2. Utilizzate diversi punti focali. So che la maggior parte delle guide dicono la cosa esattamente opposta. Ma io non penso così. Non dovete avere uno ma sempre di più. Delizierà il vostro occhio!
3. Crearte diversi strati o aree - fateli funzionare perfettamente assieme utilizzando la tavolozza dei colori.
4. Combinate gli oggetti di diverse altezze per un ritmo vivace. Gli accessori possono portarvi un sacco di divertimento.
Ok, we already let the spring in. We passed over the nordic design and IKEA trends with all the black, gray, white and fur, geometric details and lots of pillows. And it's great and beautiful in it's simplicity and But it's also funny when we think we’re all so individual in our choices instead of realizing that we’re actually part of a clan.
I'm not saying that I don't like, no, I love it. But isn't that turning into a cosy shelter for our creativity?
When it comes to furnishings, we don't have be practical. We don't have to think why put an empty vase on a mantel or why put eight cushions on a sofa instead of two. We can't be practical - the minute we go down this route, our home gets boring.
Finishing touches transform spaces, turning shelves, mantles, alcoves and nooks into something magical once dressed. Mix up the pillows seems way more exciting than if they are all the same.
I know that pulling a room together takes a bit of skill and for some of us its easier than others but when you figure out how to make it work its like having that perfect tool kit, it makes everything that much easier.
But if you have doubts, read this simple rules:
1.Chose your color palette. But as I said, be impractical, follow your heart not your head.
2. Use different focal points. I know that most of the guide books are saying the exactly opposite thing. But I don't think so. Never have one always have more. Delight your eye!
3. Create different layers or areas - make them work perfectly toghether using your color palette.
4. Combine objects with different hights for a lively rithym. The accessories can bring a lot of fun.
